Eleven hours of nonstop music opened at the Making Waves on Broadway street festival at Haywards Heath this morning.
Pictured is solo singer Luci Songi one of the opening acts, whose opening number was the Maroon Five song All I Need.
The first act on stage was high quality string ensemble Ensemble Reza, who gave a sparkling performance. They were followed by Central Sussex College Band who played a solid tight set with strong vocals from from Elisa Thomson. Members of the band have just finished their BTEC music studies.
Bands and soloists are performing until 10pm tonight.
With better weather forecast today than yesterday’s rain organisers It’s Magic are hoping for a big crowd by the time the festival closes acts like the Alter Eagles and Mainly Madness tribute bands.
Goods are being collected at the gig for the Haywards Heath food bank.
