M23 police witness appeal after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries

TRAFFIC police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the M23 on Friday (27 January).

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision at around 11.25am on the southbound offslip junction 10 at Crawley.

He was taken to Kings College London suffering from serious injuries. He remains at the hospital in a stable condition.

The motorway was closed for around 30 minutes while the Kent Air Ambulance assisted and airlifted the man to hospital.

Anyone who saw the collision or any vehicles involved before the accident, or who has any information regarding the collision, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting operation Abdon.
