LUCILLE set pulses racing when her proposal was posted in the window of a Heart Foundation charity shop.

But who is Lucille and more to the point, has Max accepted her offer?

The romantic Leap Year message is turning a few heads in the British Heart Foundation’s shop in South Road, Haywards Heath.

Manager Teresa Bristow said: “For a small donation, we invite people to put messages on ‘Love Hearts’.

“I’ve worked here for nine years and this is the first proposal we’ve had. It’s so romantic, especially in the run-up to Valentine’s Day in a Leap Year.”

Max, did you accept? Put us out of our misery and let us know via twitter or by emailing: middy.news@sussexnewspapers.co.uk
