Ockenden Manor’s star chefs dish up a rare treat
Michelin Star chefs Muriel Valette, Steve Crane and Vinnie Fayat celebrating 10th anniversary of Michelin Star
Diners are in for a rare treat when no less than three Michelin Star chefs turn out to cook the meal.
Head chef of Ockenden Manor Stephen Crane will manage the event which will celebrate 10 years of his Michelin Star being held by the Cuckfield restaurant and hotel.
The special one-off dinner tomorrow (Thursday) will see Stephen joined by the hotel’s Sous Chef Vincent Fayat and Head Pastry Chef Muriel Valette, plus two of Stephen’s prodigies, Sam Moody and Matthew Tomkinson, both of whom have gone on to win their own Michelin Stars at The Bath Priory and The Montagu Arms Hotel respectively.
Ockenden Manor is one of only three restaurants to hold a Michelin Star in West Sussex and Stephen’s menu promises to be classically French in style, with locally-sourced produce from the Cuckfield area and Balcombe where he lives.
