One man taken to hospital after collision in Staplefield

A man in his 30s was taken to East Surrey Hospital after a collision on Monday (May 26).

A Transit van and Land Rover were involved in a collision Brantridge Lane at around 12.30pm.

Two men were released before firefighters arrived.

A spokesperson for SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance) said an ambulance, a car, a HART vehicle and an air ambulance were all sent to the scene.

One man was assessed and found to have no serious injuries while another man in his 30s was taken to East Surrey Hospital with non-serious injuries.
