The air ambulance on Saturday

A Haywards Heath pensioner was airlifted to hospital on Saturday after suffering a suspected heart attack.

The 77-year-old male patient was flown to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where the trauma centre for central Sussex is based.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance landed off America Lane to pick up the patient at about 1pm. This picture of the air ambulance was sent to us by Lynne Wheeler.
