Police appeal after serious crash at Ashurst

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision yesterday (Tuesday November 13) on the B2135 at Ashurst.

The collision happened at 11.40am and involved a Yamaha motorbike and a black Peugeot 206.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 34-year-old man from Littlehampton, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.

His pillion passenger, a 26-year-old woman, suffered slight injuries. The 28-year-old man driving the Peugeot was unjuried.
