Police appeal after two burglaries

Burglaries occurred in Summerhill Close, Haywards Heath, and Oldlands Avenue, Balcombe, last week.

Both properties were having renovations done. Copper piping and other items were stolen.

The break-in on Oldlands Avenue is believed to have happened last Sunday at 4pm.

The break-in at Summerhill Close was over the weekend, between Saturday and 11.30am Monday. Sussex Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw suspicious vehicles in the area, or have had unsolicited callers at their homes or at neighbours’ homes, to contact them.
