Fallon Buckley enjoyed success at the Ultimate Street Car (USC) event held at the Santa Pod Raceway in Nottinghamshire after winning the ‘fastest female in the UK’ competition.

Along with her partner Luke Worrall, who also raced, Fallon took part in honour of two friends who passed away last year.

“We unfortunately lost two of our good friends in 2015 who both loved cars - Jonathan Courtenage and Rich Dunk - and we raced in their memory,” said Fallon, who received a trophy and mention on the USC website following her win.

“It was such a massive achievement. I have ridden motorbikes and go karts since I was five-years-old and it has made me so happy to win fastest female and have done both Jonathan and Rich proud.”

The car Fallon used during the race wasn’t drivable at first so the couple put in many project hours of building and respraying to make it roadworthy.

She added: “We had the mechanical work done by our good friend Oli Owen at Owen Garages in Haywards Heath who without his help wouldn’t have been able to attend the event and race.

“I also went to another of our good friends Aaron Marchant from and innovations who created our in memory sticker on the back window.”
