HUNDREDS of Santas will swarm around Haywards Heath on Sunday to help raise money to research and treat heart conditions.
The British Heart Foundation hopes about 300 will take part in the Santa in the Park fund-raiser and registrations will be taken on the day.
Pictured are some of the 60 youngsters from Ardingly College getting ready to take part in the event at Victoria Park with Haywards Heath mayor John Sabin launching the event.
There will be a choice of a three-mile run or a mile walk. Entry is £12.50 and includes a smart Santa Suit to keep.
The run is being organised by the Foundation in conjunction with Freedom Leisure, which runs leisure centres for Mid Sussex Council.
Registration for the run and issue of suits starts at 9.45am, a warm-up begins at 10.15, and the run begins at 10.30.
The registration for walkers starts at 10.45, with a warm-up at 11am and an 11.15 start.
It is the third year the Santa fund-raiser has been held and people of all ages have supported it.
