Snow covers the county
SNOW has fallen across the county this evening (Saturday).
It is expected to continue falling until the early hours of Sunday morning.
However, the rest of the day is expected to be cold with some sunny spells.

However, if you do venture out Sussex Police have provided the following advice:
Only drive if absolutely necessary and, if you do, drive with caution. Even if roads have been gritted, do not assume they are free from ice and frost. At temperatures of around -5°C, or in heavy snow, salt will not prevent roads icing.
