Step up and take part in the first town centre art trail

Nearly 20 shops in Haywards Heath have come forward so far to take part in the first town centre Art Trail organised by the Haywards Heath Community Interest Company. The trail will be from March 16 to 31 with every shop displaying artwork by local artists. The trail will start from The Broadway and continue down South Road and into Sussex Road.

The CIC is looking for more shops and artists to join in and has set a cut-off date of January 31 for them to get in touch by email to info@hhcommunitycic.org

Architect and CIC chairman Jo Saady said: “The idea of the trail is to draw attention to our independent retailers and to encourage people into the town centre while providing an unusual platform for the sale of work by local artists.”

The Haywards Heath CIC hopes that the trail will become an annual event with growing participation.
