Team launched to boost Haywards Heath businesses

The Haywards Heath Town Team is being launched today to promote the town.

Driving the scheme are representatives from Haywards Heath Business Association (HHBDA), 1st Central Insurance Management, Solum Regeneration, The Orchards Shopping Centre, The Broadway Traders Group, Borde Hill Gardens, Haywards Heath Town Council and Mid Sussex District Council.

Chairman of the town team, Ruth de Mierre, said: “Our aim is to meet the new challenges of creating the town centre of the future and in promoting Haywards Heath as a great place to live, invest and do business.”

Supporting the growth of local businesses, encouraging start-ups and inward investment will also be high on the team’s agenda.

“Haywards Heath has a thriving business sector, with both large employers and smaller companies,” Ruth added. “We want to support them and do all we can to attract new businesses here so we can provide one good job for every home.

“Haywards Heath is superbly located, has an excellent workforce, growing all the time, and is perfect for the 21st century small, high turnover smart businesses.”
