A talented designer has raised hundreds for BBC Children’s in Need despite only being 14 years old.
Isaac O’ Riordan, from Willow Way in Hurstpierpoint, copes with Asperger’s Syndrome and discovered a flair for design.
With the help of his parents he staged a catwalk show to raise funds for Children in Need and his new school.
Isaac moved from the former Newick House School at Burgess Hill to the new Woodlands Meed special school.
The event raised £612.34.
John, Isaac’s dad, said: “Isaac has made some new very promising contacts at the show who have asked him already to allow his designs to be used in fashion shoots at Glyndebourne Opera House and another fashion magazine has asked him for a feature.
“One fashion photographer wants to submit his designs to her contacts at Vogue and Elle so he is obviously delighted.”
Showing his second collection, Isaac said he is inspired by the singer Lady Gaga.
