TWO motocross bikes worth £10,000 have been stolen.
Police have launched an appeal for information following the theft in Midhurst Road, Petersfield.
The bikes were taken from a camper van, which had been packed up ready to attend a motocross competition.
One of the bikes is a Yamaha with blue white and red stickers reading Gabriel Insulation Services.
The second is a Honda with the same stickers.
PC James Hook, who is investigating, said: ‘These bikes are distinctive – have you been offered them for sale recently or have you seen them in the area?
‘We’d like to hear from you if you were driving along Midhurst Road in the early hours and saw anyone acting suspiciously.’
The theft happened overnight from April 20 to April 21, although details have only just been released.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Hook at Alton by phoning 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
