Year six pupils at St Peter’s C of E Primary School in Chailey enjoyed putting their imaginations to good use when they took part in a creative writing competition.

The story writing event received so many impressive entries that three pupils emerged as the winners.

The competition was set up and sponsored by a school governor as part of the school’s drive to encourage and promote writing skills.

The winners were, from left:

Millie Woodley, Daniel Brightey and Georgia McCormick.
