Two more meetings being held to discuss 230 homes plan

An extraordinary meeting of Lindfield Rural Parish Council will be held on Monday (February 11) at 8pm at the Millennium Village Centre, Scaynes Hill.

This is to consider the council’s response to the planning applications by Wates Developments for 230 dwellings and change of use for the associated land from agricultural to recreational on the east side of Lindfield.

Also, neighbouring Lindfield Parish Council’s Planning and Traffic Committee is holding an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, (February 12) at 8pm in the King Edward Hall, Lindfield, when members will discuss and agree its response to the three planning applications submitted by Wates. The public are welcome to attend.

A public meeting was held by the rural parish council last Thursday when around 200 people packed into the King Edwards Hall to debate the issue. For more on this story buy the paper out on tomorrow (Thursday, February 7)
