Video Slideshow - annual Cuckoo Fayre
HUNDREDS of visitors turned out to support the Independent State of Cuckfield at its annual Cuckoo Fayre.
The event on Bank Holiday Monday was held on the village recreation ground with dozens of stalls and attractions.
Mayor of the Independent State Sheila Chasser donned her regal best to open the afternoon and spent time going round the many stalls and chatting to locals who gave up their time to run them and raise funds for worthy causes.
Many local charities and organisations were well represented as the fine weather held up as well as people spirits for them to enjoy the this year's mild spring conditions.
