West Sussex Gazette - bigger and better

The West Sussex Gazette is relaunched.

The West Sussex Gazette is relaunched.

From today our sister paper the West Sussex Gazette is bigger and better than ever before.

It has introduced a range of improvements to make it an even better weekly read.

It is being printed on better quality paper so that the award-winning colour photographs of the West Sussex countryside look even better.

It also has more pages so that it can broaden and deepen its county-wide coverage.

And it has gone back to its roots - with a renewed focus on all that makes West Sussex such a special place in which to live and work.

New countryside and village features will be the hallmark of the improvements.

And, as you will see, it is introducing a range of new columnists who will share their knowledge and expertise of the county.

Your West Sussex Gazette is the oldest newspaper in the county. It was founded in 1853 in Arundel.

It is also the last remaining broadsheet newspaper - and has a huge reputation for its quality editorial.

Editor In Chief Gary Shipton said: “We are delighted to be making major improvements to the WSG.

“These will all build on the paper’s renowned strengths. We are not doing anything radical - merely making it even better than it currently is.”

He invited amateur photographers to send in their stunning photos of West Sussex, its villages and the local wildlife for possible inclusion.

He also repeated the invitation for organisations to send in their reports of local news - and to fill the letters’ page with their views and poems.

If you would like to send material to the paper contact us at The West Sussex Gazette, 14-16 Market Square, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1HD. Email letters@westsussextoday.co.uk
