What a difference a day makes as blue skies greet Mid Sussex

Blue skies at haywards Heath

What a difference a day makes as more than 100,000 people in Mid Sussex woke to blue skies this morning.

It was in colourful contrast to yesterday’s (Tuesday)awakening to heavy snow falls, grey skies, and transport disruption.

Traffic on main roads was on the move and schools back open. But freezing temperatures kept many pavements ice-bound and some side-roads are still slippery. Pictured is Victoria Park, haywards Heath under clear blue skies at 7.45 am today.

See full snow report and pictures in tomorrow’s Mid Sussex Times.
