A man who collapsed and died in Brighton on February 20 was from Burgess Hill.

The man who died in Queens Road, Brighton, was later formally identified as Colin Jolly, 63, of Silverdale Road, Burgess Hill.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “We were informed by the ambulance service that the man had collapsed whilst walking along the pavement in Queens Road. Brighton, shortly before 1.45pm on Friday (20 February).

“Paramedics attended to him but he was sadly pronounced dead on his arrival at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.”

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
