Met Office warning over icy conditions and threat of snow for West Sussex

A warning has been issued by the Met Office for icy conditions overnight and tomorrow morning (Saturday January 31).

Temperatures are expected to drop to around freezing from 4pm onwards today, creating problems for drivers on untreated surfaces.

The forecast is for a clear night, but cloud will develop, with the threat of snow that could turn to rain later.

Sunday is due to be cloudy with sleet and light rain but some sunny intervals in the afternoon.

At the moment the forecast for the start of the week is cloudy skies with temperatures staying around freezing.
