COUNTRY MARKET: Newick Country Market will be open on Friday morning from 10am to 11am. Plenty of local vegetables, plus numerous other tempting goodies, fresh flowers, greetings cards, and knitted items. You can also enjoy some refreshments.
CHURCH SERVICES: The services this Sunday at St Mary’s Church are 8am Holy Communion (BCP) and later that morning at 10.30am there will be Morning Prayer (CW). Everyone will be made most welcome to attend any service at St Mary’s.
FILM: Sunday evening the film being shown in the village hall is Far From The Madding Crowd. Tickets £6 on the door or by email at email@example.com The bar will be open and other refreshments will also be available.
PRODUCTION: From December 2 to 5, you could attend the next production of the Newick Amateur Dramatic Society, Death by Fatal Murder, an excellent comedy by Peter Gordon and directed by David Read in the village hall.
