FROM the village shop in Wivelsfield Green to the glitz and glamour of acting in America.

Tom Hatton used to help out in the shop while he was at Chailey School but he is now making waves as a television actor across the Atlantic.

Tom, who used to live in Wivelsfield Green, attended night school at the Old Vic Theatre in London and, after a recommendation from Kevin Spacey, he enrolled in a two year programme at The Lee Strasberg Acting School in New York.

Tom began working on US TV shows such as Law and Order and, in 2010, he became globally recognized as the host of Sony’s weekly TV show ‘In The Qube’, which airs in 60 countries and pioneers new technology on TV and New Media.

Taking advantage of his British heritage, Tom became the voice of the British prince in the top selling video game Grand Theft Auto IV.

He recently returned to the UK to film a New Media commercial for the latest Hawk fighter jet, which was strange for him as he was playing an American in a British production.

Tom is currently producing and starring in his own Web series, ‘Neilsdoc.com’, a comedy about an actor in New York.
