The Bishop first visited the school in April 2014.

Pam Cripps, Headteacher at St. Wilfrid’s, said that the couple ‘are old friends of the school, who help to cement our partnership with

St. Paul’s Primary School in Kumba, Cameroon.’

“Dream Team” children showed the visitors around the school, where they visited many classes and answered the children’s questions about life back home.

The Bishop and accompanying visitors then took part in whole school worship on the theme of compassion.

St. Wilfrid’s children sang and read acrostic poems and prayers that they had written to mark the visit.

The Bishop spoke to the children about the importance of sharing and helping others based on the parable of the Good Samaritan as we ell as giving the blessing.
