A campaigning group of mothers has set out to reduce the speed of traffic travelling through Ardingly this week via a Scarecrow Festival.

Safer Streets in Ardingly – set up by mothers who want to positively contribute to the ongoing traffic calming work underway in the village – has used the Walk to School Week (May 15-19) as a springboard to ensure safety for children walking to and from school.
