Police appeal after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries

Police have appealed for witnesses as a motorcyclist remains in hospital having suffered serious injuries in a crash.

A police spokesman said the Honda CBR motorcycle and a silver Honda Celica collided north of Ardingly on the B2038 Selsfield Road at 6.20pm on Tuesday (September 29).

The 68-year-old Kingscote man, who was driving north, suffered serious body and leg injuries and was currently at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The car driver, a woman, 64, of Fairlight, who was travelling south, was unhurt.

PC Mark Bassett of the Surrey and Sussex Road Policing Unit said; “If you saw what happened we would like to hear from you.

“Please contact us via collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1270 of 29/09.”
