Police successfully trace healthcare worker after fatal collision

Surrey Police has made contact with a healthcare professional in relation to a fatal collision in Guildford, following an earlier appeal.

Officers appealed for help in tracing the woman who helped at the scene of the collision in Midleton Road at 8am on June 16, which involved a Suzuki motorbike.

The rider, Stephen Constable, aged 41 from Alton in Hampshire was pronounced dead at the scene. An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.

Investigating officer Sergeant Eddie Ryan from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “I would like to thank the public and the media for their help with the appeal as the woman has kindly come forward and spoken to us.”
