A family of real reindeer will be on the village green at Hurstpierpoint this Thursday (December 5) when villagers celebrate their late-night shopping event.
Reindeer will be on the green from 4.30pm until 8.30pm and shops will stay open until 9pm.
There will be carol singers in the High Street, roast chestnuts for sale, a real snow machine and dozens of offers and events hosted by various shops.

Hot dogs, courtesy of Clive Miller will be available on the village green as well as Christmas trees sold by Washbrooks Farm.
Hurstpierpoint’s independent bookshop, The Mint House, is hosting a children’s story time, beginning at 6.30pm, with Winter Pimms for mums and dads.
A selection of High Street shops will be open every Thursday evening until 8.30pm in the run-up to Christmas and traders are running a loyalty scheme, offering shoppers the chance to win more than £300 worth of vouchers to be spent during January.
