BABYBALLET: Coming to Scaynes Hill in November are award winning Babyballet classes for kids aged from 6 months to 6 years. Babyballet classes dance classes allow babies, toddlers and young children to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. A 3 week trial is being offered for only £15. The schedule is as follows. Friday mornings 9.30am, 18 months to 3 years babyballet Tinies. 10.15am, 3 years to 4 years babyballet Movers. CHARITY QUIZ NIGHT: Thank you to everyone who supported the quiz night in aid of Dementia UK and all those who worked so hard to make it such a great night.
FRUIT AND VEG SHARE: The Fruit and Veg Share scheme is now finished for 2015. Thank you to everyone who participated and to the good folk who organised this marvellous scheme.
QUIZ NIGHTS: There has been a change to the Inn on the Green Quiz Night. It will now be held on the first Wednesday of the month and not weekly. It starts at 7pm, with a £2 entrance fee and a maximum of six players per team. Why not go along and test out your brain power?

Thank you to those folks who have chatted with me about our Knitted Nativity project. I now have a knitting pattern book, money to buy the wool and a few people have offered to help with knitting. If you fancy knitting some sheep, maybe a few angels or shepherds please have a chat with me. SCHOOL NEWS: St Augustine’s CEP School are holding an open day on Thursday November 5, 9am to 3pm and would like to invite any prospective parents to go and have a look around to see what they can offer them and their family. It is a small, friendly Church of England village school, within 5 minutes of Haywards Heath. Tours are being held throughout the day and appointments can be made via the school office 01444 831371.
The school are also hosting their annual Art Exhibition on Wednesday November 4 at 6pm. This showcases artwork from all the children in the school and the school would like to invite people to come and have a look around.
BEAVERS AND SCOUTS: The Beavers and Scouts, who meet in the Millennium Centre, are struggling to find leaders at the moment. Group Scout Leader, Steve Minter (831786) would be pleased to hear from anyone who might like to find out more about getting involved.
WI: The WI will be holding their fourth annual Christmas Market on Saturday November 28 at Scaynes Hill Millennium Centre. As usual the event will be supporting the Community’s chosen charities. There will be entertainment, raffles, Christmas Gifts to buy, refreshments on sale provided by the WI and lots more. Entrance is free and there is free parking. The market will run from 11am until 4pm.
