Village Lunches - Thank you to everyone who has supported these this year by coming, helping to set up, wash up (and the table cloths) and clear up. Generous gifts for the raffle and the persuasive ticket sellers always results in a profit for the day and this enables us to support a number of charities . Donations have been made to the Hospices, Motor Neuron Disease support, Fighting Blood Cancer and Regain (a charity supporting para and tetraplegics ). We have contributed to the replacement seat on the Common in memory of Len (one of our regular lunchers and sadly missed). Following recent suggestions we will send to the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance and Hearing Dogs We look forward to seeing everyone at the Christmas lunch on THURSDAY 17th December Please contact Carole and Andrew 413571 or carolehayward70@gmail.com. Dates for the 2016 year have already been arranged so put them in the diary: FRIDAY 29th January, Thursday 31st March, FRIDAY 20th May & Thursday 21st July.
