Students and staff at St Paul’s Catholic College are celebrating impressive GCSE results.
Overall 90% of students achieved five or more A*-C grades and 79% achieved this with English and Maths, 34% of all grades were A* or A.
Some of the exceptional results included the following students who achieved 10 or more A* and A grades; Isabella Atherley, Tatum Best, Joshua Cargill, Antonio Gallotta, Louisa Goodsell-Collett, Dominic Hillier, Katherine Hole, Irene Joshy, Anna Joya, Bethany Lampard, Georgina Lea, Megan Littmoden, Alice Marples, David Marriott, Aidan Paddick, Isobel Pemberton, Sean Sage, Greshma Sunny, Eleanor Trott, Phoebe Tuckett, and Hannah West
Top perfomers included Megan Littmoden who achieved 13 A* grades and one A grade along with Isobel Pemberton who was awarded 12 A* grades and 1 A grade, their hard work was rewarded with really exceptional results.
Hilary Morfitt, director of Key Stage 4 achievement, said: “Congratulations to all those getting their results today. We are very proud of your success and the grades you received today are well deserved.”
Headteacher Rob Carter said: “The hard work and commitment from students, staff and parents has really paid off. We are looking forward to welcoming students back in September to enjoy the next chapter as they begin their sixth form studies. Congratulations you have all done us proud.”
