With a dry and fine start to the day, expect some showery outbreaks of rain this afternoon (September 13).

These will clear to leave a dry end to the day.

On the roads, one lane westbound of the A27 at Shoreham remains closed, due to Shoreham Airshow crash investigations, with a speed restriction of 40mph, so expect delays.

With Goodwood Revival in full swing this weekend,it will be busy on the A27 at Chichester as people arrive at the festival this morning.

And if you’re travelling into Sussex, the A3 is closed southbound at Petersfield, between the A272 Winchester Road, and the Buriton turn off. This is due to accident investigation work.

On the railway, Southern Rail is reporting a good service this morning.

However, improvement works in the Redhill area could cause delays to London-bound journeys.

A reduced service will run between London Victoria and Brighton.
