Thieves target Mid Sussex farm buildings and barn to steal equipment

British Transport Police have charged a teenager with making a hoax bomb threat to Worthing railway station

Thieves rammed a barn in Albourne, Hassocks stealing leaf blowers and pumps.

The incident happened on February 18, in Muddleswood Road. Items taken including two Stihl petrol leaf blowers, one Honda PT2 petrol motor pump, one Honda WXB petrol motor pump and one Koshin motor pump.

On February 17, thieves attempted to break into a storage container in Buncton Lane, Bolney. It is believed that a tow rope was attached to the container to either tow it away or pull the doors open. Police said a Grand Jeep Cherokee was seen in the area.

The padlocks on several gates were cropped and a farm building in Horsted Keynes was broken into on February 17. The chain was cut on a circular saw that was then stolen.
