Tools stolen during Burgess Hill home renovation

A property under renovation on Dunstal Avenue in Burgess Hill has been broken into and tools stolen.

A spokesman for Burgess Hill police said: “This has happened sometime between midday on Saturday, January 17 and midday on Monday, January 19.

“Power tools were stolen totalling some £2000; these were taken from an insecure room at the side of the property.”

The tools stolen are as follows:

• Aquamarine Makita drill set.

• Aquamarine Makita Angle Grinder

• Black and Yellow Dewalt power saw

• An orange Makita Paslode gun

• Aquamarine plasterboard drill

• A yellow, silver and black tool box

• A red tool box

• Black and red snap on 38 drive drill

Police are reminding residents to lock all doors and windows when going out. If you are offered any of the equipment mentioned for sale or have any information regarding this incident please contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 0395 of 20/01/15.
