Gusting winds have created problems for drivers across West Sussex this morning (Tuesday May 5).

Reports have come in of fallen trees blocking a number of roads across the county.

These include Barns Green (near Horsham) Plaistow Road in Kirdford, Aldwick, Findon and the A29 / A284 Whiteways area.

The A283 Stopham Road, Pulborough, has been closed by the railway bridge due to fallen power cables.

This happened after a lorry collided with the pole. The driver was uninjured.

Drivers are advised to take care while the gusting winds continue, especially in country lanes.
