Motorists see horse killed on A264

A HORSE was killed when it was involved in a three vehicle collision on the A264 between Crawley and Copthorne on Monday night.

Officers from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and Sussex Police were called to the scene just before 8.30pm when a road traffic collision was reported.

A vet was also called by the rescue services but the injured horse could not be saved. The road was blocked while the animal was removed.
