A car window was smashed and another was left dented after vandals damaged two parked cars in Hassocks.

The incident, in Adastra Avenue, occurred overnight between Friday August 28 and Saturday August 29.

Police said one car was dented in the side, apparently from a kick, and the other had the rear window smashed. Nothing was taken.

PCSO Sarah Macknamara said; “We are investigating but no arrests have been made at this stage.

“On Friday April 3 we received nine reports of a number of wing mirrors of parked cars being broken in the Grand Avenue area of Hassocks overnight between April 2 and April 3. Enquiries were made but no arrests were made.

“There is no evidence at present to connect the two series of incidents.”

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity or has any other information is asked to contact police via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 614 of 29/08.
