Burgess Hill

BURGESS HILL ROYAL BRITISH LEGION WOMENS SECTION: At our Meeting on the 19th April, we were introduced to a new style of flower arranging by Lynne and Felicity. The attractive and innovative examples were in Japanese style, simple but very stylish. The ladies also gave a talk on how they came to flower arranging. Felicity outlined Lynne's areas of expertise and how much she had been inspired by Lynne's example. Both the talk and the demonstrations were very much enjoyed by Members, some of whom were fortunate enough to win one of the arrangements in the Branch Raffle.

Our Chairman, Sarah Voce, then advised Members of the celebrations being held locally to celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen.

Would Members please note that those wishing to attend the Festival of Remembrance which is on the 12th November this year, should contact Sarah Voce(01444 246655) as soon as possible.
