Scouts across Mid Sussex take part in ten pin bowling competition SUS-140313-111611001

Over 120 scouts from 11 Scout Groups took part in the Mid Sussex District Scout 10 Pin Bowling Competition held at Horsham Superbowl on Friday 28th February andFriday 7th March.

The increase in participants meant that again the competition had to be run over two nights. Possibly next time a third night may have to be utilised due to the interest shown.

It was a close fought competition with only 14 points separating the top 3 teams. This year 1st Hurstpierpoint won the trophy with 478 points. 2nd were 1st Ditchling (former winners) with 475 points and 3rd were 1st Cuckfield with 464 points, a close fought contest. Pictured are the victorious 1st Hurspierpoint team

In the individual competition the highest scorer came from 8th Burgess Hill, 94 points, 2nd from 1st Cuckfield, 85 points and 3rd from 1st Scaynes Hill, 83 points .

It was good to see a spread of winners across the Mid Sussex District. A good time was definitely had by all including the Leaders who managed to put down a few balls during the 2nd game to show how good(?) they were. (These scores were not included in the competition!)
