Staplefield Village Fete & Car Show 2016: despite grey skies and a cool breeze the weather didn’t put people off attending and the common was bustling with activity raising a total of £6,877 - a very good result! A huge thank you to Maggs Chamberlain & Elspeth Mongomery who acted as joint Chairs of the Committee, the members of the Fete Committee, their other halves and all those who gave up their time to help put up putting up and taking down, clearing up etc., etc., over the bank holiday weekend - you know who you are and we couldn’t have done it without you!
