The Triangle in Burgess Hill is inviting young people with disabilities aged 18 years and under and their families to enjoy a day of free fun and activity on Sunday 2 March from 10:00-16:00.
The initiative has been commissioned by West Sussex County Council (WSCC) as part of its Short Breaks for disabled children and young people scheme.
There will be a whole host of activities on offer such as table tennis, drumming workshops, sensory art sessions, Boccia, New Age Kurling, wheelchair football, bouncy castle, soft play and swimming. Attendees will also be provided with refreshments and are welcome to take part in as many activities as they wish on the day.
“It’s set to be a fantastic event and there will be plenty for children and young people with disabilities and their families to do”, says Freedom Leisure Centre Manager Stuart Smith. “We are looking forward to welcoming both members and non-members to the centre and hope many will be encouraged to take up some new active hobbies.”
