New Years Day saw the handover of a cheque for £20,000 to the Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance charity by Haywards Heath Golf Club.

Kevin Hother the representative of the charity was both delighted and amazed at the amount received from the club and thanked the outgoing Captains Derek May and Rosemary Parvin and all the club members for their fundraising efforts. He went on to say that donations such as this make a huge difference to the work the charity does in keeping the Air Ambulance flying, and providing the services needed. The club is a huge supporter of local charities and has through various fund raising efforts and with the help of local businesses providing raffle prizes raised well over a £100,000 in recent years. The chosen charity for 2015 is The Friends of the Kleinwort Centre (FKC)
