This year's Christmas Fayre: takes place on Saturday, 3rd December, 1.00 - 4.30 p.m. Stalls of all types will be there with local organisations fundraising with tombolas and games and by selling cards, gifts and produce. Father Christmas will visit until 3.30p.m. Entry £1.00 per adult.

The Parish Council: welcome all to the Carols around the Oak tree outside Hapstead Hall on Saturday 3rd December from 5.30pm, led by St. Peter’s Church. Mince pies and mulled wine available come and join us to see the new Christmas lights in the Oak tree and sing some festive carols with family and friends.

The Ardingly NSPCC: committee is running its charity Christmas stall at the Village Christmas Fair on December 3rd. Donations of items and small gifts would be very welcome. Please phone 01444 892692 or 01444 892777 for collection.

Ardingly Short Mat Bowls Club: meets Friday evenings at the village hall between 7-00pm and 10-00pm. The club plays friendly matches against other clubs in the area as well as an evening roll up. New members are always welcome. For more info contact Peter on 01444 892234.

ST. PETERS CHURCH: Services for 4th December - 8.00am H.C. (BCP), 10.15am Sunday@theCentre

Coffee, Croissants & Church, a café style service for everyone in the Church Centre. Activities for children. Refreshments served from 10.00am and throughout the service. Worship begins at 10.15am. 6.30pm Open to God – A short, quiet service of Advent reflection in Church to end the day. Thursdays 9-11.30am “Angels & Urchins” Parent & Toddler Group at the Centre. Free activities & snacks for parents, babies & toddlers.

Need help with your computer skills?: Free one to one help provided by students at Ardingly College: to choose your phone, tablet or laptop, if you don’t have one; Or bring your own and have help accessing the internet, shopping on line, sending emails, keeping in touch with friends and family via skype, facebook and whatsapp and; much, much more!

Sessions run on Mondays 4.30pm – 5.30pm from 12 September – 17 October and 7 November to 12 December. Park your car where you can and look out for the students who will guide you to the room where the sessions are taking place. Ring 01444 242760 or email [email protected] for more information.

Ardingly Country Market: every Thursday from 10 - 11am at Hapstead Hall. A thriving market selling fresh seasonal produce, cakes, savouries, eggs, venison and much much more. Tea, coffee and biscuits are still only 50p. Come along for a chat and a very warm welcome.
