There will be a PRODUCE MARKET: in the Parish Room on Saturday 18 March from 9.30 am until 1.30 pm. Old friends will be back, including Mary with her cakes and jams, Richard with his pork products, Michelle with her award winning jellies and condiments, and Monty Bojangles with their superb truffles and treats. Also featuring will be Luigi with his oils and other Italian products and, for all the dog owners in Balcombe, Bernie, with his Oscar doggie products. You will also be able to buy Neal’s Yard items from Helen. Neal’s Yard is a British retailer of organic natural health and beauty products who started out in Covent Garden in 1981 and now have 53 stores across the UK. Helen will also be selling flapjacks.

Care Group fundraiser: Glenda will be serving teas and coffees in aid of the Balcombe Care Group which is a fabulous group of local volunteers who help take people from Balcombe to hospital or doctors’ appointments. Come and enjoy and hear more about the group; or maybe even sign up as a driver!

ST. MARY’S SPRING CLEAN: is scheduled for Saturday 18 March from 9.00 am until 12.30 pm. All are welcome to help clean inside and out, please bring your own tools and equipment. Refreshments provided.

BARNSTORMERS COMEDY: is back in the Balcombe Club on Saturday 18 March, with a Stella line up including, Bennett Arron , John Ryan and from America Russell Hicks, Compare for the night our very own Sussex boy Steven N Allen , £10 in advance or £12 on the night. Call 811226 for tickets.

BALCOMBE BULL RUN: this event is now in its fourth year and is being held on Sunday 19 March 2017 and starts at 10.30am from Balcombe School. More information can be found at www.facebook.com/BalcombeBullRun where you can enter online. This year they are raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice and Balcombe School.

Council meeting: There will be a parish council meeting on Wednesday 22 March at 8.00 pm in Bramble Hall.
