Woody’s at The Martlets Shopping Centre in Burgess Hill is inviting local residents to take part in its painting and diorama (replica or scale model of a landscape) competition.

The model store and gallery is inviting budding artists of all ages to purchase any model worth £10 or more. Simply take it home, build it and paint it, then bring it back to Woody’s by Saturday December 12 for judging. The winner will be announced on Saturday December 19 after the competitors’ models have been displayed for a week. First prize will be a £75 Woody’s voucher and second prize is a £25 Woody’s voucher both to be spent on Warhammer models in store.

The judging will be done by two independent modellers who have a combined experience of over 125 years modelling. Their work is currently on display at Woody’s.
