Award winning charity Neighbourly Care in Burgess Hill (holders of the FABVORG cup for voluntary organisations and 2 Community Service awards) is seriously concerned about a shortage of volunteers this winter.

Neighbourly Care has a growing list of vulnerable clients in and around Burgess Hill needing their care and attention, from a home visit to shopping and assistance to get to the doctors or hospital, from changing a light bulb to clearing a footpath.

There is no charge for our service, but our clients appreciate that we are there when it is really needed.

The forecasts for this winter are not encouraging, the cold weather makes it even more important that we visit our clients regularly.

If you can only spare a couple of hours a week you can make a big difference in somebody’s life.

Please take a few minutes to go online at www.neighbourlycare.co.uk and register an interest.

We will arrange for a DBS (formerly CRB) check within a few days.
