Woodlands Meed School will be holding a Family Fireworks Night on Saturday 17th October from 5pm.

Woodlands Meed School will be holding a Family Fireworks Night on Saturday 17th October from 5pm. The event has been specially organised with the needs of families, children and those with special needs in mind.

This is the first event of its kind at Woodlands Meed and it’s hoped that it will be a popular night out for local people. Designed for the whole community as new initiative it has received some funding from the local Community Initiative Grant and is sponsored by local estate agent PSP.

The site is wheelchair friendly with disabled facilities. The earlier start time will appeal to those with younger children and the use of noise reduced fireworks makes this a unique event for Burgess Hill.

Along with the fantastic firework display set to music, there will be a free children’s entertainer providing magic and balloon modelling, a range of popular fair activities to enjoy as well as Hog Roast, Hot dogs and Refreshments. Local radio station, Mid Downs Radio will be there too, providing music and fun throughout the evening.

Parking is free from 5pm at the nearby Queens Crescent Car Park and Tickets are available in advance (Adults £5 Children £3) from www.pta-events.co.uk/woodlands-meed/
