A footballing charity is offering cut-price fitness sessions to people in Mid Sussex who do not take part in regular exercise.

Albion in the Community (AITC) is the official charity of Brighton and Hove Albion FC and has engaged with more than 30,000 people across Sussex in the last 12 months alone.

Much of its work is centred on health and it has launched a new project called Back to Exercise specifically for the Mid Sussex area.

It is aimed at people who are inactive, to encourage them back into exercise or to try exercise for the first time and sessions can be scheduled to suit participants’ individual interest.

Sessions will include Zumba, Pilates, stretch and tone, aqua aerobics, walking football and more.

The courses will run for 12 weeks and cost only £1 per session. They will take place in a variety of community venues across Mid Sussex in both daytimes and evenings. The sessions will be taught at a pace suitable for the individual and support will be offered throughout the course.

If you are interested in becoming more active in a fun, friendly and informal setting or would just like further information please call 01444 229770 or email angie.steel@albioninthecommunity.org.uk
