To link with the General Election the children in Year 4, 5 and 6 at St Giles CE Primary School have been looking at how the political parties are structured and their manifestos.

They have formed their own parties and decided what they think is important in their own manifestos. The four parties are called The Vision Party, The Transform Party, The Progress Party and the Tomorrow Party.

Each party voted for a Leader and they then presented their manifestos to the rest of the school. All the pupils in the school voted for their favourite party. They had a secret ballot and all the votes were placed in a sealed box. The votes were counted by the Bursar and today we announced the winning party to be the Vision Party.
